Instant Sign Center [ISC] was founded over twenty years ago in Brookline, MA. In mid-year 2005, Instant Sign moved into its current offices and production facility, a state of the art 13,000 square foot site in Norwood, MA.

Like most sign businesses of its day, the early years of operations saw ISC utilizing the techniques that were technologically available at that time. Most of the work that was produced utilized computer aided cut vinyl applications. Digital output was confined to that which could be produced on our Hewlett Packard large format printers. This is a very high "photo quality" printer that is capable of true museum quality reproduction, but limited to interior use only. Production techniques, in general were very manual and the process was labor intensive.

Today, ISC utilizes all of the most modern and productive manufacturing equipment and techniques available. While the Hewlett Packard printer still has an important and defined role at ISC, the workhorses of the business are three Seiko solvent jet large format printers (two, 64" and one, 100") that provide us with the capacity to truly produce graphic content for our customers with virtually no limitations as to environment, color, material or size. Additionally, we have flatbed printing capacity that allows us to print directly onto certain substrates (keeping the cost very low), laminating equipment, grommeting equipment (for banners and residential real estate signage), heat sealing equipment for hemming banners as well as highly automated and sophisticated cutting/routing equipment to serve the needs and creative desires of our clients. Whether it is a simple "Now Open" banner for your new local business or working with major regional and national clients helping them launch a new campaign or open a new facility, ISC has the capacity and the desire to work with you to assure the success of your efforts.

ISC is a full service large format graphic design and imaging firm. We are staffed with a team of professional sales personnel to assist or help guide you to the most effective manner to complete your project, graphic designers to help provide the creative content when needed, an experienced output department and sign makers to turn your ideas into completed projects and an installation team if you require this resource support as well. ISC's transition to a primarily digital based design/manufacturer allows our customers to transmit artwork via our web download tool (FTP) or through more traditional email saving our customers time and allowing us to serve a larger geographic area.
